Yanks vs Pirates

Didnt catch the game (watching the encore now), but from what I'm reading we lost 12-5 Pirates. Really Yankees? Really? For fuck sake. (Just woke up , Im cranky!)

Anyway, Justin Christian. Justin got called up from triple A and made a fine debut. Ahhh Justin, I cant let you creep into my heart just yet, I've been burned by Shelly Duncan

Yeah, this was an ugly game. Not much fun to see.

Christian did OK, though we didn't get to see much of the blinding speed he is supposed to have.

The team just seems flat. No life or sparkle. They did a great job of hitting into DP balls, though that isn't exactly what we want to see.

They let off a pitcher who couldn't throw strikes and handed him a win he didn't really earn. The Yankees earned that win for him.

Not a good day in Yankee land.

Rasner has probably come back to normal, meaning he stinks.

I hope you didn't miss Joba's Gem of a game tonight. As much as you didn't miss much for the first game of the series, the opposite is true of this game.

Robbie got hits, hit a HR. Abreu got hits. Jeter was back. Joba laid down a really good looking bunt and flew out, but it was well hit.

Shut out. Deep in the game. First ML win as a starter.

I think I'm gonna get weepy over it. This kid is going to be one heck of a pitcher in his career.

Definitely not a game to miss. This will be historic.
